More and more monitor manufacturers, including Samsung, are currently returning to old virtues. With the SyncMaster S22B420BW LED, the South Koreans have just announced a 22-inch display that breaks away from the mainstream of 16:9 screens that sit rigidly on their feet. The display is mainly intended for office applications.
The 22 incher is equipped with a flexible stand that allows the user more freedom of movement in front of the screen. Instead of adjusting one’s sitting position to the monitor, it can be adjusted in height with a flick of the wrist. The frequent change of the sitting position at the desk, which is recommended by experts, does not result in any discomfort for the user with the Samsung. In contrast to its “stubborn” colleagues, the screen is adjusted to the new sitting position in no time. The stand also allows a swivel range of 45 degrees to the side as well as a tilt of the display by -5/+22 degrees. The former is particularly useful if you are working on two screens or want to show the person sitting next to you something on the screen more often.
